Preguntas generales

Preguntas generales

What types of hotel amenities do you supply?

We develop full guest amenity collections including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, body lotion, hand cream, face cleanser, spa treatment products, and accessory items. Collections are available in liquid and solid formats, with packaging options ranging from refillable permanent vessels to sealed per-stay formats.

How does the development process work?

We begin with a discovery consultation to understand your brand identity, guest profile, and sensory direction. From there we develop a tailored product recommendation covering formulation approach, scent profile, texture, and packaging concept. Once approved, we move into formulation development, testing, compliance, and production. The full process is structured across six stages outlined on our Process page.

Where are your products formulated and produced?

Formulations are developed through our manufacturing partners in Seoul, drawing on Korean cosmetic science and ingredient supply chains. Production and filling are handled through a Spain-based partner, with distribution coordinated from Palma, Mallorca. This hybrid model combines formulation quality with reliable European lead times.

Are your products compliant with EU regulations?

Yes. All products supplied to EU clients comply with EU Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, including safety assessments, preservative efficacy testing (ISO 11930), ingredient compliance, labelling, and full product information file documentation. Compliance documentation is provided to all partner properties as standard.

What are your minimum order quantities?

MOQs vary depending on the product range, format, and level of customisation. We aim to keep MOQs commercially realistic for boutique and independent properties as well as larger groups. Specific quantities are confirmed during the proposal stage once the programme scope is defined.

What lead times should we expect?

Standard collections typically require 6 to 8 weeks from approval to delivery. Fully customised or private-label programmes, including bespoke formulation and packaging development, require 10 to 14 weeks. Reorders follow structured production cycles to ensure continuity without disruption, particularly through peak season periods.

How do you manage reordering and ongoing supply?

Once a programme is confirmed, we work with forecast-based planning aligned to your occupancy cycles. Reorders are coordinated to arrive ahead of demand, with particular attention to peak season schedules in the Balearic Islands. A dedicated contact manages each account.

Can you support multi-property or group-level operations?

Yes. We support clients operating across multiple properties or vessel fleets, maintaining consistent product specifications, coordinated delivery schedules, and centralised account management across all locations.

Can you support sustainability reporting or internal audits?

Yes. We provide full product specifications, ingredient documentation, safety assessment summaries, and packaging material data to support internal ESG reporting, sustainability audits, and hotel certification requirements.

What happens if there is a supply disruption?

We communicate proactively and work to identify solutions immediately, including expedited production or interim supply arrangements where feasible. Our Spain-based production model reduces the primary risk of international supply delays for European clients.

What types of amenities do you supply for hotels and resorts?

We supply full in-room amenity collections including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, body lotion, hand cream, and soap. Collections are developed specifically for each property's brand identity and guest profile, with packaging formats ranging from permanent refillable vessels to sealed per-stay formats appropriate for different room categories and suite levels.

Can you create a custom amenity line specific to our hotel?

Yes. Every collection we develop is built around the specific property, not selected from a catalogue. We work with your brand identity, interior aesthetic, guest demographic, and sensory direction to develop a product line that belongs exclusively to your hotel. This includes bespoke fragrance development, custom formulation, and packaging designed to match your room environment.

Are your products sustainable and compliant with the 2026 EU plastics regulations?

Yes. Our collections are developed with the EU single-use plastics directive in mind. We offer refillable permanent vessel formats, sealed per-stay apothecary formats, and solid product options, all of which meet or exceed current and upcoming regulatory requirements. All packaging is selected with end-of-life considerations documented.

What lead time is required for a hotel amenity programme?

Standard collections require 6 to 8 weeks from brief approval to delivery. Fully custom programmes including bespoke formulation, fragrance development, and packaging design require 10 to 14 weeks. We provide a clear timeline at the proposal stage to support operational planning around openings, renovations, or contract renewals.

Can you scale production for large resorts or hotel groups?

Yes. Our manufacturing partners are capable of servicing single boutique properties as well as multi-property hotel groups and international brands. Production scalability is confirmed during the proposal stage based on your volume requirements and delivery schedule.

Can you develop seasonal or opening collections?

Yes. We develop limited and time-bound collections for seasonal programmes, property openings, renovations, and special events. Seasonal collections can incorporate locally sourced Balearic ingredients to create a sense of place tied to a specific time of year. Lead times and feasibility are confirmed at the briefing stage.

How does the packaging transition away from single-use miniatures work in practice?

We guide properties through vessel selection, refill protocol design, and housekeeping integration as part of the programme development. Permanent vessels are developed to match the room's aesthetic. Refilling takes place through a documented back-of-house process so guests only ever encounter the clean, sealed vessel. Full operational guidance is provided before launch.

Do you offer design consultation as part of the service?

Yes. Strategic guidance on amenity direction, packaging format, fragrance profile, and sustainability positioning is included in the programme development process. We do not supply products in isolation. Every programme begins with a consultation and ends with a solution built around the property.

Spas & Wellness

Spas & Wellness

Can you develop custom formulations for spa treatments?

Yes. We develop treatment-specific formulations including massage oils, body scrubs, mud and clay masks, aromatic compresses, and facial treatment products. Each formulation is developed around your treatment menu, therapist requirements, and the sensory identity of your spa concept.

Can you create branded take-home products for spa retail?

Yes. We develop retail-ready product lines that extend the spa experience beyond the treatment room. Take-home products can be developed to match your treatment formulations, using the same fragrance profiles and active ingredient approach, packaged for retail presentation and priced for your guest demographic.

Are your spa formulations natural and EU compliant?

All formulations comply with EU Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. We work with high-performance natural and active ingredients, and can develop formulations aligned with specific certifications or clean beauty standards as required by your programme. Full ingredient transparency and safety documentation is provided as standard.

Can you incorporate local Balearic ingredients into spa formulations?

Yes. This is one of our core differentiators for Balearic Island properties. We incorporate locally sourced ingredients including Mallorcan almond oil, Sóller citrus, and Balearic botanicals into formulations, creating products with genuine regional provenance. This also supports local procurement requirements under Law 3/2022 for qualifying properties.

Can you supply packaging for treatment rooms and spa retail?

Yes. We develop packaging formats appropriate for both treatment room use and retail display. Treatment room formats prioritise ease of professional use. Retail formats prioritise visual impact, product communication, and shelf presence. Both are developed to maintain visual consistency with your spa's identity.

Yachts & Cruise

Yachts & Cruise

Can you supply amenity programmes for yacht staterooms?

Yes. We develop full stateroom amenity programmes for superyachts, charter fleets, and private vessels. Collections include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, hand wash, and face care products, developed around the vessel's identity and guest profile. Formats are selected for stability in marine environments, appropriate stateroom dimensions, and storage constraints.

Are your formulations reef-safe and suitable for marine environments?

Yes. We develop reef-safe formulations free from oxybenzone, octinoxate, and other compounds harmful to marine ecosystems. Biodegradable formulas and plastic-free packaging formats are available and recommended for vessels operating in protected marine areas across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Indo-Pacific.

Can you create destination-themed or seasonal collections for yachts?

Yes. Destination-specific and seasonal collections are a strong fit for charter operations where the guest experience is tied to a particular itinerary or time of year. We develop fragrance profiles and ingredient selections that reflect the destination, creating a sensory experience that is specific to the voyage rather than generic across all charters.

Are your products compliant with maritime regulations?

All products comply with EU Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and carry full safety documentation. For vessels operating under specific flag state requirements or in regulated maritime zones, we can advise on additional compliance considerations relevant to your operating area and registration.

Can you develop branded or co-branded amenities for a vessel or charter brand?

Yes. We develop fully branded and co-branded amenity programmes for individual vessels, charter fleets, and cruise lines. Branding is applied across packaging, vessel materials, and fragrance identity to create a cohesive programme that guests associate specifically with the vessel or brand.

How do you handle supply and restocking for Balearic-based vessels?

We distribute from Palma with 48-hour delivery capability across Mallorca, Ibiza, and the wider Balearic Islands. For vessels provisioning ahead of Mediterranean itineraries, we can coordinate supply to align with departure schedules and seasonal demand.

Can SOSOO create a fully private-label amenity line for a boutique brand?

Yes. Private-label development is one of our core services. We manage the full process from formulation and fragrance development through to packaging design, regulatory compliance, and production. The result is a product line that belongs entirely to your brand, with no visible SOSOO identity unless you choose to include it.

Do you support the full process from concept to delivery?

Yes. Our six-stage process covers discovery and brand immersion, strategy and recommendation, formulation and design, testing and compliance, production and delivery, and ongoing partnership. We do not supply products in isolation. Every programme begins with understanding your brand and ends with a fully compliant, delivered product line.

Can you assist with ingredient sourcing and regulatory compliance?

Yes. Ingredient sourcing strategy and EU regulatory compliance are core to what we do. We advise on ingredient selection, restricted substance compliance, labelling requirements, and safety documentation. For boutique brands entering the market, we can support the full regulatory onboarding process from formulation to product information file completion.

Are your formulations suitable for sensitive skin?

We can develop formulations with a sensitive skin profile, including fragrance-free options, hypoallergenic ingredient selection, and skin barrier-focused active ingredient approaches. Sensitive skin suitability is confirmed through dermatological testing as part of the product safety assessment process.

Can you advise on how to maintain luxury standards while managing costs?

Yes. Cost management without compromising sensory quality is a consistent focus in our programme development. We advise on format selection, concentration optimisation, and packaging specification to achieve the required guest experience within defined budget parameters. The goal is never to reduce quality visibly. It is to make smart formulation and production decisions that preserve it.
