Hotel Amenities · Spain
SOSOO Amenities designs and supplies refillable luxury amenity programmes for hotels, boutiques and spas across Spain, from a base in Palma de Mallorca. Formulations are developed in Seoul using clinical-grade Korean cosmetic science and finished with Balearic botanicals. Every programme is co-branded, carries full EU compliance documentation, and includes the SOSOO Operating System for stock and compliance control. Local supply means short lead times and seasonal reliability, not international freight.
A Spanish hotel operator is not managing a single compliance requirement but three, at different stages of enforcement. This is a layered runway, not one deadline. A programme built now should be ready across all three.
Balearic Islands
Law 8/2019
Governs single-use plastics for properties and establishments operating in the islands. In force now across Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca and Formentera.

EU PPWR 2025/40
Broad packaging obligations from 12 August 2026. The single-use toiletry miniature ban (Annex V, under 50 ml / 100 g) applies from 1 January 2030.
From 12 Aug 2026 · miniatures from 2030PPWR guide →SOSOO is built to be compliant across the entire runway, through refillable systems and documented record-keeping. Compliance clears the threshold; the guest experience in the bathroom is what earns the property anything beyond it.
Balearic Islands — primary market. SOSOO is based in Palma de Mallorca and serves Balearic operators directly. Programmes are formulated around Balearic botanicals, documented for Law 8/2019 from day one, and delivered on short lead times with delivery coordinated to the property.
Mainland Spain — national capability. With broad PPWR obligations from August 2026, mainland properties that have not addressed packaging recyclability and CPNP registration have a finite window to implement a compliant programme. SOSOO delivers to mainland Spain and handles the full EU regulatory documentation.
Are miniature toiletries banned in Spanish hotels?
Not as a single national ban, and it is worth being precise. Balearic Law 8/2019 governs single-use plastics in the islands now; broad EU PPWR obligations begin 12 August 2026; the single-use miniature ban under 50 ml / 100 g applies from 1 January 2030. Refillable systems are compliant across the whole runway.
Does SOSOO deliver outside the Balearics?
Yes. The Balearic Islands are the primary market and Palma is the operating base, but SOSOO delivers to mainland Spain and provides full EU regulatory documentation for properties nationwide.
How long does it take to set up a programme?
A custom programme takes roughly 14 to 20 weeks from briefing to first delivery. Programmes using certified base formulations can move faster. For a summer opening, brief early in the year.
Is the programme co-branded or white-label?
Co-branding is the default and presents as the property's own. White-label is available as a paid add-on. The compliance ledger remains SOSOO-owned in every tier.
